PRESS RELEASE:
Escambia County, Florida – On December 12, 2024, Christopher Curtis Luckie was sentenced to thirty years in state prison followed by thirty years of sex offender probation. Luckie was also designated a Sexual Offender by Circuit Court Judge Coleman Robinson. The Defendant was sentenced after he pled straight up to the court on twenty counts of Possession of Certain Images of Child Pornography.
On July 12, 2023, a search warrant was executed at a residence after law enforcement received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that images of child pornography were being
downloaded at that location. After a search of the residence, Christopher Luckie was found to be in possession of multiple images of child pornography. After being interviewed by law enforcement, Luckie
admitted to downloading the child pornography.
The investigation and arrest were conducted by the Pensacola Police Department and Assistant State Attorney, Carrie Gilmer prosecuted this case on behalf of Ginger Bowden Madden, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida.
