Michael Todd Ronna Guilty of Soliciting Sexual Conduct of a Child – Assistant State Attorney, Sarah Barickman

PRESS RELEASE

On April 10, 2025, Michael Todd Ronna was found guilty by an Okaloosa County jury of two counts of using a computer to facilitate or solicit a parent, legal guardian, or custodian to consent to the sexual conduct of a child.

The Defendant reached out to an undercover officer posing as the father of a 10-year-old girl on a social media application. Messages were exchanged for several months, during which the Defendant asked to rent the 10-year-old child for sexual contact. Search warrants revealed the social media account belonged to Michael Todd Ronna.

Sentencing is set for May 22, 2025, before the Honorable William Stone.

The case was investigated by the ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) division of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
