Jerry Keane Foster, Jr. Guilty of First Degree Premeditated Murder – Assistant State Attorney Robert Little

PRESS RELEASE

(Escambia County, Florida) On June 4, 2025, Jerry Keane Foster Jr. was found guilty of First Degree Premeditated Murder by an Escambia County jury. Foster was immediately sentenced to life in prison by the Honorable Judge John Simon.

The charges stem from an incident on September 9, 2023, where deputies responded to a shots fired call near Emerald Ave. Upon arrival they discovered Jarvis Johnson – who is Foster’s cousin – lying in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting was said to be over an ongoing family dispute.
