Tracy Edward Williams Sentenced to 30 Years – Assistant State Attorney, Carrie Gilmer

(Escambia County, Florida), Ginger Bowden Madden, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida, announced that on July 30, 2025, Tracy Edward Williams was sentenced to serve thirty years in state prison and designated a Sexual Predator by Circuit Court Judge John Simon. Williams was sentenced after entering a plea straight up to the court on one count of Sexual Battery by a Person in Familial Authority.

This investigation arose from a report that Williams had inappropriately touched a minor child in his custody. The abuse took place for several months in 2024. When interviewed by law enforcement, Williams admitted to sexually abusing the child.

The investigation and arrest were conducted by the Pensacola Police Department and Assistant State Attorney, Carrie Gilmer prosecuted this case on behalf of Ginger Bowden Madden, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida.
