Davarius James Sentenced to Life in Prison – Assistant State Attorney, Andrew McGraw

On November 5, 2025, Escambia Circuit Judge John Miller sentenced Davarius James to life in prison for the murder of Claudette Robinson which occurred on February 3, 2025.

This sentencing followed Mr. James’ trial which occurred October 22 and 23 and resulted in his conviction for Second Degree Murder. It took a panel of jurors less than 30 minutes to determine that Claudette Robinson’s boyfriend was guilty of murdering her during a brutal beating and strangling attack in their home.
