(Walton County, Florida) Ginger Bowden Madden, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida, announced today that Judge J. Ryan Love sentenced Terrell Knox to a 20 year minimum mandatory prison sentence for Trafficking in Fentanyl 14-28 grams and a concurrent 15 year minimum mandatory sentence for Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
The charges stemmed from a Walton County Sheriff’s Office Investigation where Knox was selling Trafficking quantities of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine to a confidential informant. On February 7, 2024, after prior sales, Walton County Investigators met up with Knox, where another drug sale was set to take place. Investigators found Knox in possession of more than 85 grams of Fentanyl and 448 grams of Methamphetamine.
Knox had 2 prior felonies for Possession of a Controlled Substance and 3 prior misdemeanor convictions.
The investigation and arrest were conducted by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
