(Escambia County, Florida) On June 25, 2025, an Escambia County Grand Jury indicted Shanette Maria Robinson on the charge of First Degree Premeditated Murder.
The indictment stems from the shooting death of Joshua Javon Donald, Robinson’s boyfriend, which occurred on February 26, 2021, at Robinson’s residence.
The Defendant’s next court date is scheduled for August 12, 2025, and she is currently incarcerated in Escambia County Jail with no bond.
The investigation is being handled by Pensacola Police Department. Assistant State Attorney Amy Shea is prosecuting this case on behalf of Ginger Bowden Madden, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit.
