PRESS RELEASE
(Escambia County, Florida) On September 16, 2026, Arrington Moultrie was convicted as charged of Second Degree Murder with Discharge Causing Death, Shooting Into a Vehicle, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. The Honorable Judge John F. Simon presided over the trial. The Defendant must serve twenty-five years state prison as a minimum mandatory sentence and faces a maximum sentence of life plus twenty years.
The charges stem from an incident on November 16, 2024, where deputies responded to a shots fired call at a Raceway gas station on Pensacola Blvd. Upon arrival they discovered Darnell Robertson had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound to the back.
